Her first win came in All India Ranking tournament held at Sivakashi on August 24th 2014 and gradually she won nationals title at Vishakhapatnam in November 2015.
In 2016, she won crowns in Under 15 and Under 17 girls single category at Junior National Championship season 2 finals.
The same year she started training at Prakash Padukone badminton academy in Bengaluru.

Aakarshi professional achievements include finishing as runner up in Bulgarian and Uganda International in the year 2018 & 2020 respectively.
Winning Kenya International in 2020 against Anupama Upadhyaya by 21-15, 21-6 respectively has been a top notch performance from her in the marquee event.

She was selected to represent India in Badminton Asia Under 15 and Under 17 junior championships held in Kudus, Indonesia where she successfully won bronze medal.
Inspite of losing a match in National Badminton Championship held in 2017 against Saina Nehwal she gained respect and recognition from Indian badminton fans for putting up tremendous fight against top player.
The turnaround came in 2018, when she successfully won Yonex- Sunrise All India Ranking tournament held in Bengaluru where she defeated Gayatri Gopichand in the final marathon match which went up to 63 minutes in which the former prevailed as winner against the latter with the score of 21-17, 12-21 & 21-9.
She reigned supremely in 2018 edition of Khelo India School Games held in January 2018 where Bhilai player won Under 17th match. Despite few hiccups her form continued till 2019 where she won Yonex Sunrise All India Senior Ranking tournament in Vijayawada India by defeating Anura Prabhudesai in the final by 21-12, 21-16.
In 2021, she won women’s singles title in All India Ranking Tournament where she defeated Tanya Hemanth via straight games in the final with a scoreline of 21-15,21-12.
