WWE has seen many tag teams from the yester years which have proved their Dominance in the Wrestling arena amidst some of the most deadliest and dangerous Wrestling names. However, Teams like “the Shield”, “The New day” “ and many others from the current era can hardly match the flair and ruthlessness of the teams of the Attitude era like the DX, Evolution, Dudley brothers, Hardy Boys and so on.
Out of all of them , The Evolution consisting of the “ Nature boy” Ric Flair, Triple H, Randy Orton and Dave Batista can certainly be quoted as the most deadliest and dominant team from the past era. Moreover, the deadly combo of all these wrestlers would be reuniting once again at the grand occasion of Smack down’s 1000th episode.
What are the odds of a comeback for the “Animal” Dave Batista?
It was in the year 2014 when Dave Batista was last seen in the WWE ring and the beast got his ways diverted towards Hollywood for all these years while featuring in a number of Hollywood movies. Apart from WWE, his character in the movie Guardians of the Galaxies was something which has made him receive all the accolades in the yester years.
Moreover, all the WWE fans have been craving for his return ever since all these years and there were some rumors that he would be making a return to the WWE arena once more. Also, during one of his interviews with the WWE legends Jim Ross in 2017, Bautista also showed his interest towards making a return to the ring once again and he also quoted that he is in Constant touch with WWE CEO Vince McMahon in regard to the same.
He also said that if he would ever be making a return to the WWE, it would be a long term relationship for sure. As per him, “The short answer to that is ‘yes, I would love to go back.’ But the reason I have not gone back is because I don’t want to do a one-off. I want to go and I want to wrestle, man. I want to do some house shows and I want to be a part of the program.
The one-off thing, the cheap pop thing, it doesn’t do anything for me. So now it’s a matter of scheduling if I could go back, if I happen to get injured is it going to affect something else?”.
Everything that happened at the Smack down 1000th event
It was during the Smack down event on Tuesday night when the four of the legends namely the Ric flair, Triple H and Randy Orton got together along with Dave Batista to cherish all those good old memories of the Team evolution in the history oif WWE. While everyone of them got along with the show while doing banters of claiming themselves as the “ Best in the business”, the moment heated up after Batista claimed that Triple H has beaten every single wrestler in the WWE roster, except him.
It must be noted that this all came in the wake of a victory by Triple H after beating the Undertaker in the super showdown PPV event and he along with the Shawn Michaels were on cloud nine after ending the undefeated streak of the Undertaker in the same event.
Does that mean a long term deal for Dave Batista on tables in WWE?
The manner in which the things are heading forward in WWE certainly claims towards a new and long term deal for Dave Batista coming ahead on the table. This is backed by a list of facts which demands some of the Old war horses to return to WWE in order to save its degrading popularity across the globe.
This was the same reason behind the Undertaken and Triple H showing up aft6er long time for a one n one match and while this wasn’t it, the feud gets followed by “ the Brothers of Destruction” Kane and the Undertaker bashing on the DX team comprising of Triple H and Shawn Michaels during their celebrations at the Monday night Raw.
Therefore it can be said with utmost belief that the Team Evolution along with Batista is all set to return to the main event and while Ric flair doesn’t seem like competing anymore due to his health issues, Triple H, Randy Orton and Dave Batista is all set to get the stage on fire with their good old moves.
