Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim has been sacked from his post and Interim chief selector Shahid Afridi has taken the charge will not continue for long at the same post.

As per sources, Shoaib Akhtar is likely to become next chief selector of Pakistan Cricket Board if this news turns out to be true it will be huge responsibility on his shoulders to make changes in selection as he has criticised administration for not selecting players on merit.
