Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has started a new phase of his life as he engaged with Serbian actress Natasa Stankovic on Wednesday. The all-rounder was congratulated by cricketers all over the world and the Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal pulled his teammate Kuldeep Yadav’s leg while congratulating the all-rounder.
Pandya announced his engagement on Wednesday with the actress. The couple, who have been dating for quite some time now, took to their social media accounts to share pictures from their engagement ceremony which took place in a yacht in Thailand.
“Mai Tera, Tu meri jaane, Saara Hindustan (I am yours, you are mine and the entire nation knows it). 01.01.2020 #engaged,” Hardik captioned the photo on Instagram.
The Indian leg-spinner congratulated him on that post, writing “Lakh lakh vadhaaiyaan.” (Many many congratulations). And, Chahal didn’t miss out to pull the leg of his fellow team-mate. Chahal replied to Kuldeep’s comment and wrote “ab teri baari (it’s your time now).”
Fans were quick to spot the comments made by the Indian duo and trolled Chahal for pulling Kuldeep’s leg.
Meanwhile, Hardik is yet to make a comeback to the national side after suffering a horrible back injury. He has missed out on the T20I and ODI series against Bangladesh and the West Indies respectively. But he has been named in the India ‘A’ squad for the tour of New Zealand, paving the way for a comeback into the Indian team.
Hardik has last featured for India in the T20I series against South Africa in September 2019. The all-rounder also had a decent World Cup in England & Wales. He picked up 10 wickets with the ball and also played some decent knocks with the bat. However, he failed to score any fifty in the tournament. The knock against Australia, in which he scored 48 was the highest in that tournament.
