Losing a child is the most painful thing that any parent can feel.
Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has announced the hurtful news that his newborn son has passed away while birth, after his fiance Georgina Rodríguez gave birth to twins.
Manchester United striker was looking forward to having twins with partner Georgina Rodriguez, but unfortunately, the baby boy passed away on the spot.
The Portugal captain released a joint statement with Georgina, with the pair admitting they are ‘devastated’.

The couple wrote: “It is with the deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away.
‘It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.”
In October 2021, Cristiano-Georgina who was expecting babies, went on to reveal the birth of their baby girl is giving them ‘strength’.
They added: “Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness”
‘We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time.’
The fans across the world quickly reacted to the devastating news and send their condolences to Ronaldo and his family.

Manchester United’s official page wrote: ‘Your pain is our pain. Sending love and strength to you and the family at this time, @Cristiano ❤️’.
Ronaldo former club Juventus also commented on Ronaldo’s Instagram post, writing: “Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Georgina and the whole family during this time.”
Other former Ronaldo teammates such as Pele, Paulo Dybala, Blaise Matuidi, Alvaro Morata, Alex Telles, and James Rodriquez all sent condolences to Ronaldo.
Cristiano and Georgina currently have a three-year-old daughter called Alana Martina.
Cristiano Ronaldo also being the father of three other children with two separate mothers.
