Brazilian midfielder Allan signs three year deal with Everton

Brazilian midfielder Allan signs a new three year deal with Everton.He joined Everton from Napoli for whom he played for five years for 25 million pounds. He has represented his national team for 9 matches till date and was also part of that Brazilian team who won Copa America last year.

The 29 year old midfielder played 61 games under the guidance of Carlo Ancelotti when he was in charge of Napoli as now he is serving as the manager of Everton to which Allan said that he is happy to work with his old manager again at his new club.

“It’s a real pleasure to sign for Everton. I am extremely happy to be here. I hope, like I have done in my entire carrier . I contribute with my performances together with my teammates and that I put in some great games, great performances and win important things, “he said in a clubs official statement.

“It’s a club with a rich history in the Premier League , has real ambition and then there is Professor Ancelotti. He has done everything possible to bring me here . It is the size of the club and the name of the coach which means you don’t think twice about coming back to Everton” Allan added.

He represented Napoli in more than 200 appearances which includes 158 Serie A appearances and 26 games for the Champions League.

He was instrumental for Napoli in 2017-18 season of Serie A League where Napoli finished at 2nd position falling behind Juventus.

Allan hails from Rio De Janeiro and started his football carrier from local Brazilian club known as Madureira club. He has also had a brief stint with Stadio San Paolo club where he won Coppa Italia title with them.
