In the first two tests of the current Border-Gavaskar Trophy, it appeared as though India would easily maintain its 2-0 lead. Therefore, based on the current Border Gavaskar Trophy standings, Australia has received a lot of criticism for their subpar performance. But, Australian star cricketer Glenn Maxwell has expressed a different point of view and perspective on this. He endorsed and praised Australia’s so far in the series performance.
“But I feel that, apart from a number of tiny moments, we’ve been in the struggle, we’ve been matching India at different points, and they’ve shown a lot of fight,” he reportedly said, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. “I’m sure that will be the takeaway—to continue attempting to keep up with India and seize those significant game-changing moments. It simply requires perseverance for a little while longer.
"It's bloody difficult over there. It's not an easy place to play, so foreign for us"
