Big Breaking: BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla to Visit Pakistan for 2nd Semifinal in Lahore
The Board of Control for Cricket in India would be happy like all Indian Fans as Men in Blue stamp their authority in the final by beating Australia with 4 wickets in hand.
Indian Cricket Team would be closely monitoring, 2nd Semifinal that will be played in Lahore today, between New Zealand and South Africa.
Talking about the latest development, BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla, will be visiting Pakistan today for 2nd semifinal match.
“Mr Rajeev Shukla will be visiting Lahore Today as BCCI nominated representative” source close to BCCI informed distinct media outlets.
This is the not the first visit for Rajeev Shukla in Pakistan he previously travelled in the year 2004, as Journalist and later as an administrator.

Entire tournament was suppose to be held in Pakistan, due to political tensions surmounted among Indo-Pak at borders, Indian government didn’t allowed their team to Visit Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025.
Hybrid Model was adopted by ICC, where rest of the teams played their game in Pakistan and Dubai barring India who played all their matches in Dubai.
In coming years, Pakistan will also not travel India and every ICC or ACC event will be played in Hybrid model only.
The Upcoming Asia Cup 2025 will be played in T20 Format where three Indo-Pak matches are expected to be played among each other.
Next year there is T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka it is evident that Men in Green will play all their matches in Sri Lanka only.
BCCI being the richest and most powerful cricket boards in the world, would certainly help talks with Pakistan Cricket Team Stakeholders and tell them their Point of View, cross border terrorisms and security are primarily reasons why India didn’t travel Pakistan.
Considering all permutations and combinations, it doesn’t seem these two teams will play at each other home in times to come.
My Perspective:
Indian Cricket Team, would be expecting to deliver in the final irrespective of any opposition, they have fine balance and they deserve to win this tournament.
They understand the conditions pretty well and the best thing about Men in Blue is their ability to adapt surface in the crunch phase of the game.
India have quality all rounders, spinners and batters who can deliver their arsenal.
The best thing which justify India’s bench strength can be understood by the fact that Bumrah is still not there in the squad, Pant is not part of Playing X1 barring that still they have managed to reach in the finals and win Champions Trophy 2025.
