BCCI Secretary Jay Shah wishes Indian Hockey Team for a brilliant victory against Pakistan

Jay Shah

The Indian Hockey Team defeated Pakistan yesterday by a huge margin. India was able to win the match by a brilliant score of 4-0. With the help of this win, Indian Hockey is on top of the points table, with 13 points, and Pakistan has been eliminated from the tournament. Even before the start of the match, India had done so well in the tournament, that they had already qualified for the semi-finals. This win was so special, that even the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Jay Shah, congratulated the Indian Hockey team.

The road ahead for the Indian team in the tournament

The Indian team is in the semi-finals, and they are going to ensure that they win the semi-finals, to reach the most important game of the tournament. Shah used Twitter as a mode to share his wishes to the Indian Hockey Team.

Now it is going to be interesting to see the rest of the performance of India in the tournament.

Excellence of Harmanpreet

Harmanpreet Singh led as the captain. He goaled twice for the team, and later on got the support from Jugraj Singh and Akashdeep Singh. These three players made the score 4-0. The defenders of the Indian team ensured that the Pakistan team would not be able to make even a single goal. That is clearly visible in the final score of the team, as Pakistan was not able to make even a single goal.

The current rank of Pakistan’s team on the world stage is 16th. That clearly shows that there is a lot they need to improve to come in the top 10. However, for Indians, this is a golden opportunity to win the tournament and show their class to the world. However, for now, it is certainly a matter of pride for Jay Shah and all the other Cricket fans.
