Babar Azam moves up in ICC Test Batting Rankings

In the most recent update of the ICC Test batters rankings, we have witnessed the rise of Babar Azam, who has now reached the coveted fourth position. Babar Azam’s recent tide in form has moved him up the ICC Test Batting Rankings, surpassing England’s Joe Root with an impressive rating of 862 points and holding the 4th spot.

Despite Joe Root’s respectable performance in the one innings, where he scored a valuable 56 runs, he, unfortunately, experienced a drop in his points in the ICC test rankings. Root’s rating points reduced from 871 to 861, pushing him to slip to 5th in the ICC Test batters rankings. Meanwhile, Babar Azam surpasses Root with 862 rating points, securing fourth in the rankings.
