Early Life

Sable was born on September 13, of the year 1994, into a farming family in Mandwa, Maharashtra’s Beed district. Avinash Mukund began running or walking the 6 km (3.7 mi) trip between home and school when he was just six years old because his village lacked a transport system. Avinash Mukund enlisted in the Indian Army’s 5 Mahar regiment after completing his 12th-grade year, receiving assignments to the Siachen Glacier in 2013–2014, the deserts of north-western Rajasthan, and Sikkim starting in 2015.

Due to the pressure from his coworkers, Avinash Mukund initially competed in inter-army cross country running in 2015 before deciding to move to steeplechase with coach Amrish Kumar. Sable, who was overweight, managed to reduce 20 kg (44 lb) in three months, before attending the national camp where he was taught by Nikolai Snesarev. Due to the fact that Snesarev’s training schedule did not “suit” him, Sable returned to coaching Kumar in the year 2018.
