Scottish cricketer Alasdair Campbell Evans was born in England on January 12, of the year 1989. Evans bowls right-arm medium-fast and bats right-handed. His birthplace was Pembury, Kent.

Domestic Career

Evans made his first-class debut for Loughborough UCCE against Leicestershire in the year 2009 whilst pursuing his degree at Loughborough University. In the year 2009, Alasdair Campbell Evans participated in another game for the group against Kent. In that campaign, Alasdair Campbell Evans played two One Day Internationals (ODIs) for the cricket team of Scotland against the cricket team of Canada, making Sunil Dhaniram his first international wicket in the process.

Evans played his debut first-class match for the national cricket team of Scotland against the national cricket team of Ireland in the 2009–10 ICC Intercontinental Cup later that same month. Alasdair Campbell Evans took the field for the cricket team of Scotland in a List A match against India A in 2010, in which Scotland lost by a score of 152 runs. Alasdair Campbell Evans last played for the cricket team of Scotland in a first-class match in the year 2011, when Scotland faced the Netherlands in the 2011–13 ICC Intercontinental Cup.

Alasdair Campbell Evans was chosen to represent the Glasgow Giants in the inaugural Euro T20 Slam cricket competition in the month of July of the year 2019. However, the cricket competition got cancelled the very next month.

International Career

On June 18, of the year 2015, Alasdair Evans played in his first Twenty 20 international (T20I) match against Ireland. With 24 wickets in 12 games, Alasdair Evans tied for the most in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship in the month of December of the year 2017.

Alasdair Evans was included in Scotland’s roster for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier match in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the month of September of the year 2019. Evans’ first five-wicket haul in an One Day International (ODI) game came in the month of May of the year 2021 during the series against the Netherlands. Evans was nominated to Scotland’s 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup tentative team in the month of September of the year 2021.
