Aishwarya, who has never received an international medal, clocked 51.18 seconds to win the women’s 400-meter race at the Federation Cup (April 2-6) in Kozhikode, making her the third fastest Indian quarter-miler.

Aishwarya earned the cut for the World Championships in the United States in July because to her outstanding performance. Only Manjeet Kaur (51.05) and Hima Das (NR, 50.79) have quicker times.

Since that time, however, drug inspectors from the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) and even the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU), a separate organization created by World Athletics, have been pursuing her to obtain samples but have been unable to locate her.

The AFI had included her in the Indian quarter milers who were to train in Turkey as part of the preparations for the upcoming major events, including the Commonwealth Games, based on her good time in the Federation Cup, but she did not show up for the trip.

Maharashtra quarter-miler Aishwarya Mishra has disappeared after winning a gold in the Federation Cup National Championships last month. Dope testers from the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) and the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) have been chasing her to collect samples but could not find her whereabouts. The AFI included her in the Indian contingent of quarter milers to train in Turkey as part of preparations for upcoming major events, including the Commonwealth Games.

Aishwarya Kailash Mishra first emerged onto the national scene with an impressive timing of 52.40s during the Mumbai University inter-collegiate athletics meet in the month of October of the year 2019. She joined the national camp soon after that performance and was named for the Indian contingent for the training tour of Turkey that year.
