“Agar India nahi aata toh hum bhi…..” Shahid Afridi lambast ICC over BCCI decision to not tour Pakistan

Arch-rivals India and Pakistan are having trouble getting along because they don’t play each other often and only compete against one another at ICC and ACC events.

In light of recent events, India has decided against attending the 2023 Asia Cup in Pakistan for security considerations.

Shahid Afridi responded, “Agar India nahi aata Pakistan toh hum bhi nahi jayengey India but jis tarah ki conditions hain humari we can’t afford it,” when asked about this in his most recent interview with SAMAA News.

Afridi continued by saying that given where international cricket is at the moment, we cannot afford to take a firm stance against the BCCI.

He finished by saying that although the ICC should take action against the BCCI, due to the latter’s position on international cricket, the ICC is powerless to do so.

If India doesn’t travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup in 2023, Pakistan has previously said that it won’t travel to India for the World Cup in 2023.

The Asia Cup 2023 is anticipated to be moved from Pakistan to a neutral location.

If reports are to be believed, India will continue to host the 50 Over World Cup and Pakistan will immediately suffer a significant loss.

Taking about current event in which these two arch- rivals are involved, India is preparing for 2nd Test against Australia in Delhi whereas Pakistan is playing ongoing edition of PSL.
