69th Women's Senior Kabaddi Championship 2023 : All you need to know about Team, Dates, Time and Venue in detail!

Kabaddi’s wave continues to take over as the 69th edition of the Women’s Senior Kabaddi championship is all set to get underway at Mahendargarh, Haryana from 23rd March to 26th March. It will be a 3-day tournament which will see some of the country’s best Women Kabaddi players in full throttle action.

It will be an important tournament for all the Women Kabaddi players as their performance could land them a spot in the Indian Kabaddi team preparing for the Asian Games scheduled to take place later this year. Himachal Pradesh will enter the fray being the defending champions and they will begin their title defense in just 2 days time.

The schedule was released by the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) and Shri Krishna Group of Institutions at Mahendargarh, Harayana is the venue.

 

All the participating 5 teams have begun with their practice sessions and squads have also been released.

29 teams were split into eight groups in the 68th edition which took place in 2022. Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri hosted the event in 2022 Himachal Pradesh went on to beat Indian Railways 33–31 to claim the trophy. While Indian Railways dominated Rajasthan to win the other semifinal 41-17, Haryana was eliminated in the semis after falling to Himachal Pradesh by a score of 35-32.
