The BCCI is making every effort to schedule cricket matches across India.

Speaking about the most recent development, BCCI General Manager Abey Kuruvilla recently visited Chandigarh to investigate the possibilities for cricket so that future cricket matches might be readily staged in the city.

He was welcomed by office bearers of UTCA who were keenly showing him potential of hosting cricket matches in Chandigarh.

The UTCA has successfully hosted Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy along with the camp of Under 19 girls were conducted in a wonderful mannner.

Kuruvilla didn’t restricted himself to one or two locations in Chandigarh instead he went to other centers including the likes of Dav School, Punjab Engineering College and Mahajan Cricket Ground and many more to understand the potential of hosting cricket matches across distinct venues in the city.

BCCI is keenly working hard with IPL Governing Council to host cricket matches and the recent example where Rajasthan Royals home matches were hosted in Guwahati Assam indicates that richest cricket board is trying hard to expand this gentlemen’s game across North east vividly.

Based on reports in different media outlets, BCCI is keenly looking to organize Men in Blue future matches in Varanasi “Gajari” Stadium which is under construction and approximate 500 crores have been allocated by board to prepare this stadium which will be located in the outskirts will certainly draw attention of cricket fans.

This is the best way to organize cricket matches in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as the fans belonging to these cities would certainly want to see their favorite cricket stars up close from the ground.

IPL 2023, have already reached towards its penultimate end, with distinct teams are trying hard to make sure they reach at the Playoffs spot which seems quite difficult for few teams including the likes of Delhi Capitals and SunRisers Hyderabad.
