We can go on vacation with perfect feeling: Origi after Liverpool’s ‘very special season’

Liverpool crowned Premier League championsLiverpool clinched recently concluded premier league 2019-20 season after 30 years and the major credit should be given to the manager of the club Jurgen Klopp along with star studded line up which consist of big names like Mohammad Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firminho and Jordan Henderson.

Liverpool player Divock Origi said that it was a “very special season” and now they can go on a vacation with a “perfect feeling”.

Liverpool defeated New Castle by 3-1 on Sunday and finished the Premier League 2019-20 season with club record 99 points.

“It’s beautiful. I think it’s something that, with time, we will be able to enjoy more and more. It has been a very special season and things like this are so big that it needs time to digest,” the club’s official website quoted Origi as saying.

We celebrated it well, we’re excited to be able to be with the fans, seeing them and being able to celebrate it together. Now, I think we can go on vacation with a perfect feeling,” he added.

The club has won won nineteen League titles, seven FA Cups, a record eight League Cups and fifteen FA Community Shields. In 2019 Liverpool was the seventh highest earning football club with estimated revenue around $2.183 billion.

They have long established rivalry with fellow team Everton. Since the inception of Premier League in 1992 the rivalry between the two clubs has gone to another level.

They are also one of the rarest football clubs whose story has been depicted  in a movie known as “The 51st State” where Robert Cartyle who played the lead role in the film is the ardent fan of the club and the last scene ends with a match between Liverpool and Manchester United.
