Pakistan Cricket Board have once again come under boiling hot water and for some people it might be nothing new. Controversies & controversial developments or decisions have always surrounded the PCB and their latest announcement has made former Pakistan cricketer Rashid Latif go all guns blazing towards the board.

Latif did not approve PCB’s squad announcement for their upcoming 3-match T20I series against Afghanistan at the UAE. Rahid literally threw the most lethal verbal jabs towards the country’s cricket board and signaled towards the cricket body’s doom.

PCB firmly decided to leave out some in-form star players and give starts to a number of talented young players from the Pakistan Super League 2023. The team against Afghanistan now includes players like Saim Ayub, Ihsan Ullah, Haseebullah Khan, Zaman Khan, and Tayyab Tahir, with Shadab Azam serving as captain.

Rest In Pace Pakistan cricket is exactly what Rashid Latif said. He slammed not only Najam Sethi but also PCB Chief Selector Haroon Rasheed, accusing them of tampering with Pakistan’s equilibrium and combination. Latif’s primary concern was that the PCB hierarchy might use a divide and rule system.

Off Late players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi among other senior cricketers have performed well and have also won laurels at ICC events. He accused board selectors for being too old for sitting at the selectors chair and playing with one of the major source of happiness as well as income of Pakistan.

“Our players are featuring in ICC rankings and winning awards after a long time. Babar and Shaheen won ICC awards. They [PCB] couldn’t digest it. They said we won’t let it happen and now we are here and will take decisions. Those who never took rest and are 70 or 80-year-old and need to rest, are now deciding the fate of Pakistan cricket. You can say rest in peace Pakistan team. Our team is now rest in peace.”

Since this news broke out, fans on twitter have been trolling the Board and flooded feeds with plenty of memes. Here are some of the best Fan reactions –
