Watch: GT’s Twitter handle shares AI generated pics of their players

Gujarat Titans (GT), the defending IPL champions, secured their spot in the 2023 playoffs with a 34-run victory against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Monday. GT leads the points standings with 18 points after 13 games, and their last league encounter is on Sunday away against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). For the game against the RCB, the GT players had more than four days of preparation time. Although, GT’s Twitter account published AI-generated images of its players on Wednesday.

Shubman Gill contributed significantly to Gujarat Titans’ 34-run victory against SRH by scoring 101 runs off 58 balls in their encounter.

Gill became the first centurion for the reigning champions GT as he reached the century mark in just 56 balls. After scoring 50 runs in just 22 balls, he maintained composure when wickets fell at the other end to reach the triple-figure milestone.

In Tests, ODIs, T20Is, and even the IPL, Gill has now reached the century mark. He is one of the select few cricketers to accomplish the feat. In the IPL 2023, he also surpassed the 500-run threshold.

GT’s opponent for Qualifier 1 is yet to be selected, however they will play in the IPL 2023 playoffs on Tuesday following their last league match against RCB on Sunday.
