Watch: David Warner Touches Bhuvneshwar Kumar's Feet On Hyderabad Return

David Warner was in a spellbinding mood as he returned to the team’s home stadium where they won the Indian Premier League (IPL) championship. Warner ran to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, a former colleague from Sunrisers Hyderabad, and touched his feet before giving him a bear embrace.

Ishant Sharma, a bowler for the Delhi Capitals, was also seen in the video and couldn’t help but giggle at Warner’s antics. IPL posted a video of the event on social media and it quickly became popular with fans.

Warner didn’t envision his time with the Sunrisers coming to a successful conclusion, but he did spend some of his best IPL seasons there. Famously, the Australian had guided the group to the championship in the 2016 campaign, defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore in the showdown.

Warner was naturally excited to be returning to Hyderabad, but this time as the captain of the opposing side.

Warner said following the game that he enjoys playing in Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. “I adore this place; the people are fantastic and consistently supportive. I appreciate all of your help. The game presents us with difficulties, therefore for us, earning two points is fantastic,” he stated following the match, which saw DC defeat SRH by 7 runs.

The Australian cricketer was thrilled with how his bowlers played while holding the opposition to a meagre total of 144 runs.
