Watch : Afghanistan's players condemn CA's decision to pull out from the ODI series at UAE

After Cricket Australia announced their decision to cancel their 3-match ODI series against Afghanistan, the entire cricketing fan base including the players lashed out on Twitter, calling CA’s decision as Biased.

It should be noted that Cricket is one of Afghanistan’s strength and they have continued to build upon that despite the control of regimes in their mother land. The Asian team became a full-member nation of ICC and got recognized as a Test Nation in 2017.

Their first ICC Cricket World Cup participation was in 2015 and since then they have been trying to continue the process. But CA’s cancellation has got to the nerves of Afghanistani cricketers who have one by one pulled themselves out of Australia’s domestic league – Big Bash League T20.

Rashid Khan, the most well-known name from the country described the development as Unfair and unexpected. He did not comply with CA’s decision and raised questions about their acceptance of him playing in the Australian circuit.

It took CA just one tweet to make a number of Afghani players tweet back with their disagreement. They came to this conclusion after a meetings with all the stakeholders and the Australian government.

Apparently, Afghanistan is the only full-member nation which doesn’t have a Women’s team. They are also not participating in the U-19 ICC Women’s T20 World cup 2023. And Taliban’s latest imposition is that will not allow Women to participate in sporting activities.

Many players have come forward to show their disagreement and it includes Aftab Alam, Hamid Hassan, Hasmat Shahidi, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Rahmat Shah and Naveen-Ul-haq.
