Bollywood actor and wife of the Indian captain, Anushka Sharma seems to be on a break from films currently, as is evident from her and her husband’s social media posts. Anushka Sharma has been travelling with Virat on cricket tours, and once the tour ends, the duo enjoys their off time travelling and going on dates. Most recently, the couple travelled to Bhutan as Virat excused himself from the limited-overs series against Bangladesh.
Last night, Anushka shared a picture with Virat where they are seen enjoying a movie date. Today Virat took to his Instagram handle to share a selfie of the two enjoying their movie date. The batsman captioned it as, “About last night. At the movies with this hottie @anushkasharma.

The couple, who got married in Italy last year in the presence of close family and friends, will be celebrating their first marriage anniversary next month. Recently on the TV show ‘inspiration’ on India Today, Kohli opened up to journalist Boria Majumdar on what made him attracted to Anushka, whom he dated for close to five years before marriage.
“The thing that fascinated me the most was how relaxed and chilled out for what she already was at the stage. She was welcoming and comforting. These are things that helped us become really friendly,” Virat Kohli told India Today.
“We started cracking jokes. I was the one who was fooling around all the time. Some of the jokes were really silly but that’s how I am. I love having a good time and having a laugh. I am really glad that shampoo commercial happened.”
On the work front, Virat recently became the fastest batsman to get to 70 international centuries, when he scored 136 in the pink-ball Test against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens. In the process, the 31-year-old went past former Australia skipper Ricky Ponting’s tally of 19 Test centuries as captain. Also, he became the first Indian skipper to go past the 5000-run mark in Test cricket.
The run-machine will be back in T20I action when India play West Indies in the home series starting December 6. The hosts will play West Indies in three T20Is, followed by three ODIs beginning December 15.
Anushka, on the other hand, was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ which also starred Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan in the lead roles. Her next film is yet to be announced.
