USA squad for T20 World Cup 2024
Soon after the conclusion of IPL 2024, cricket fans will get to see the excitement of T20 World Cup 2024, which will be co-hosted this time by USA and West Indies. A total of 20 teams will participate in this tournament. For this USA squad has already been announced.
USA Cricket announced its 15-member squad, in which wicketkeeper-batsman Monank Patel has been given the command of the team.
USA has selected these 15 players for the T20 World Cup
Many players of Indian and Pakistani origin have been included in this squad of USA. Among these, there are three Indian players who have previously represented the Indian team in Ranji Trophy and Under-19 World Cup.
USA has not selected captain Unmukt Chand, who won the Under-19 World Cup for India in 2012, which has definitely surprised the fans. However, his teammate Harmeet Singh has definitely been selected. To strengthen the batting order, players like Aaron Jones, Andries Gaus, Corey Anderson, Steven Taylor have been given a chance in the USA team. Corey Anderson has also played it earlier for the New Zealand cricket team.

Pakistani origin bowler also selected in the squad
Apart from these, right-arm fast bowler Ali Khan has also been successful in making a place in the squad. Key players like Harmeet Singh, Jessie Singh, Milind Kumar, Nisarg Patel and Nitish Kumar have also been made part of the squad with the aim of leaving their mark in the T20 World Cup.
Fast bowler Saurabh Netrawalkar, who has captained the USA, wicketkeeper batsman Shayan Jahangir, who has played the Under-19 World Cup for Pakistan, will also be seen playing for the USA in the T20 World Cup. Whereas, Gajanand Singh, Yasir Mohammad and Juanoy Drysdale are part of the list of reserve players. USA will start its campaign in the T20 World Cup on June 2 playing against Canada.
