The California Knights confirmed a top-two finish on the US Masters T10 League points table after defeating the New Jersey Legends by 24 runs in a rain-affected match at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, Florida on August 25.

The Knights posted 76/1 in their five overs with their top-scorer Irfan Pathan securing a quick 30 before restricting the Legends to 52/3. The New Jerseys are at the 5th place in the standings. Ben Laughlin was the star of the show for the Knights, taking 2 wickets for 7 runs from his 1 over.

He bowled with great control and accuracy, and his slower deliveries were particularly effective. Laughlin’s fellow bowlers also bowled well, with Pawan Suyal taking 1 wicket for 11 runs. The Knights’ batsmen made a good start to their innings, with Irfan Pathan and A Nurse scoring 31 and 24 runs respectively.
