The 17th match of the US Masters T10 League 2023 happened between California Knights and Atlanta Riders. This was a cracker of a match, as it went till the last over, both sides were under pressure. It was not a very high-scoring game as per the standards that have been set by this tournament. That is because in other matches the teams have achieved a total of over 100 runs. The contribution of Irfan Pathan was very simple and economical, but it definitely had a huge impact.

They lost the first wicket on a score of only 3 runs. But Kallis and Milind Kumar ensured to continue. They were determined to form a good partnership, and they were successfully able to. They formed a brilliant partnership of 39 runs.
After that, Kallis and R Powell took the score to 94 runs by the end of the 10th over.
The Atlanta Riders had a target of 95 runs to achieve. They got a fine start of 19 runs. But the main impact was created by the 2nd wicket partnership. That took the score from 19 to 66 runs.
However, the economic overs in between by Irfan Pathan were very impactful.
He maintained the economy of 6.50 runs and even took the important wicket of Hamilton Masakadza.
