“It breaks my heart to see Dhoni…” Irfan Pathan’s latest Tweet on MSD stirs mixed reaction on social media!

A Twitter user even commented “Bhai its just jealousy”

Former Indian All-Rounder Irfan Pathan’s latest post on Twitter is making a lot of news as he posted about his sadness to see MS Dhoni getting aged and getting slower. As we all know, Pathan played under Dhoni’s captaincy for several years and was also a key member behind the Indian team winning the inaugural ICC T20 World Cup in 2007.

In fact both of them even shared a heated moment in the Indian Premier League decades ago during the 3rd edition of IPL where Chennai Super Kings landed their maiden title. Although that matter was later on resolved by Dhoni himself and they have maintained a great relationship since then.

And last night, Irfan Pathan took to Twitter a express his grief to see MS Dhoni ageing and losing his pace and charisma after CSK’s 26-run win against Delhi Capitals. The former 2011 World cup winning Captain was seen having troubles while completing a run which is truly odd to see but he is also playing with a Knee injury.

While some players can choose to spend time out of competition, Dhoni’s spirit and people’s love is why even an injury is not affecting his participation. As a finisher too, Dhoni has helped CSK time in time out this year and he also contributed 20 runs off 9 balls, smacking 2 sixes and a four on the way.

But when it came to running the wickets, MSD certainly had issues with his Knee injury. Even during the post-match presentation, Dhoni said Don’t make me run” when asked about coming out to bat a little up the order. To that, Irfan Pathan posted another Tweet reminding everyone of Prime MSD when he used to set examples for future players when it comes to fitness.

Pathan also nodded Dhoni by comparing his speed to a Cheetah during his peak years.
