TNPL season number seven is scheduled to commence on June 11, starting with an exciting match between Lyca Kovai Kings and Idream Tiruppur Tamizhans at the SNR College Cricket Ground in Coimbatore. Spanning from June 12 to July 12, 2023, this T20 tournament will be hosted across four cities of Tamil Nadu: Coimbatore, Dindigul, Salem, and Tirunelveli.
In the upcoming 2023 edition of Tamil Nadu Premier League, there will be a total of eight teams representing various regions of Tamil Nadu. The tournament will consist of 28 league stage games and four playoff matches. During the league stage, each team will face every other team once, following a round-robin format.

At the conclusion of the league stage, the top two teams in the standings will compete in Qualifier 1. The winner of this match will secure a direct spot in the final. The teams placed third and fourth will face each other in an Eliminator match, and the victorious team will move on to Qualifier 2. In Qualifier 2, they will face the losing team from Qualifier 1. The winner of Qualifier 2 will then advance to the final.
Overall, the tournament structure ensures that the winners of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 will ultimately face each other in the grand final to determine the TNPL 2023 champion.
