The inaugural edition of the Hundred was supposed to be held in 2020 will be finally taking place in 2021.
The tournament will start from July 21st 2021 between the Oval Invincibles and Manchester Originals women’s teams.
The second match will be played between the same franchise mens team at the Kennington Oval in London.
From match number three onwards it will be a double header contest. The matches will be held behind closed doors.
On days of doubleheaders, the women’s teams will lock horns following which the men’s teams will be pitted against each other. The inaugural tournament won’t have a shortage of star-power by any stretch of the imagination.
The top class players including the likes of Andre Russell, Eoin Morgan, Rashid Khan and Sophie Devine who will competing in the tournament.
Apart from Kia Oval Ground all other grounds which is the Lord’s, Headingley, Edgbaston, Trent Bridge, Rose Bowl, and Sophia Gardens will be hosting the matches for the marquee event.
