The 28-year-old Batter took the opportunity to unequivocally refute the claims, sharing a snapshot of a tweet on his Instagram story to clarify the matter.

A Tweet from a verified Twitter account associated with a sports management company comprehensively debunked the circulating rumors earlier on Tuesday. Babar, in a move to authenticate the information, shared the same content on his Instagram story.

The tweet, which meticulously addressed the misleading information, stated:

“The striking announcement about Captain Babar Azam’s wedding in November is completely unfounded. To be precise, this ‘news’ is just as surprising to him and his family. Please refrain from sharing unverified information. Thank you. I don’t sense any threat while bowling to him in T20s.” – mentioned Pakistan pacer Usman Shinwari about Babar Azam.

Usman Shinwari, the left-arm fast bowler from Pakistan, recently shared his perspective on Babar Azam’s prowess in T20 cricket. While Shinwari holds Babar in high esteem in Test and ODI formats, he doesn’t view him as a significant threat in the shortest format of the game.

Shinwari expressed his thoughts, stating:

“Babar Azam is undoubtedly my favorite player. However, I believe that Babar’s impact is particularly strong in ODIs and Tests. In T20s, I don’t feel under substantial pressure when facing him. This is because his style relies on traditional shots, and as a bowler, you don’t anticipate Babar attempting unconventional shots, like slogging a good length delivery for a six or playing an unexpected unorthodox shot.”

“Due to this, I don’t perceive him as a significant challenge when bowling in T20s. Yet, in Test matches and ODIs, he remains my preferred batsman.” – he further explained.

Presently, Babar Azam is actively participating in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023, competing for the Colombo Stirkers team in Sri Lanka. His performance in the tournament showcases him having scored 255 runs over seven matches, maintaining a strike rate of 137.84. Notably, his impressive performance includes one century and one fifty.
