Tamina Biography: Sarona Moana-Marie Reiher Snuka-Polamalu, popularly known by her ring name Tamina, is a female American professional wrestler, currently working with World Wrestling Entertainment on the Smack down brand. Tamina developed her interest in wrestling from her father and Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka.
Tamina made her official wrestling debut in 2009. She bagged Lia Maivia Scholarship for training at the Wild Samoan Training Center in Minneola, Florida. After making her WWE main roster debut on Raw, Tamina joined The Usos against The Hart Dynasty. She went along with other alliances in whivh she teamed up with Alicia Fox and Maryse. She has attended countless matches with several wrestlers for a different title. Some of her major fights are for Wrestle Mania, WWE Divas Championship, NXT Women’s Championship and so on.
From 2013 to 2014, Tamina was Divas Champion AJ Lee’s bodyguard. In 2015, Tamina joined hands with Banks and Naomi to form a new group named as Team B.A.D. In 2018, she started an alliance with Nia Jax. She is also one-time 24/7 Championship, defeating Carmella backstage.

Tamina is the daughter of a renowned professional wrestler Jimmy Snuka in 80s and mother Sheron Georgi. She married to Brandon Polamalu from 1995 to 2003. she is the mother of two children. She has also been romantically linked to wrestler Darren Young. Her brother James is also a professional wrestler, best known for his time in WWE under the ring names Deuce and Sim Snuka.
PROFESSIONAL LIFE
Tamina began her professional wrestling career in 2009 by taking training at the Wild Samoan Training Center in Minneola, Florida. She made her in-ring debut in 2010 by joining Jimmy and Jey Uso, and attacked the Unified Tag Team Champions, The Hart Dynasty. Tamina made her singles debut against Natalya, however the match ended in a no contest as The Nexus interrupted the match.
Tamina teamed with Alicia Fox and Maryse in a “Diva Cup Match” in a losing effort against Eve Torres and The Bella Twins. She started her on-screen relationship with Marella, and later won a three-team elimination tag team match with Kozlov against The Nexus. Tamina was also involved in a feud with Beth Phoenix for Divas Championship, however lost the match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. At the Money In The Bank, Snuka teamed up with Kaitlyn and Layla, defeating the team of Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Eve Torres.
In 2015, Snuka along with Naomi and Banks formed a group named Team B.A.D. Tamina and Naomi attacked Banks after she announced her separation from team B.A.D. At Fastlane, Tamina and Naomi lost to Banks and her partner Becky Lynch.
In 2018, Tamina started an alliance with Nia Jax. At Wrestlwmania 35, Tamina and Jax competed in a fatal-four way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against current champions The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection (Bayley and Banks), The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) and The Divas of Doom (Phoenix and Natalya). At the event on Tamina and Jax were defeated. She is also one-time 24/7 Championship, defeating Carmella backstage.
Tamina made her video game debut as a playable character in WWE 2K15 and later appeared in WWE 2K16, WWE 2K17, WWE 2K18 and WWE 2K19.
