Beginning of Cricket Career
In a Giles Shield (Mumbai U14 school tournament) match seven years ago, Suryansh Shedge, then 13, scored 326 runs in 137 balls for his school, Gundesha Education Academy (Kandivali), against SPSS Mumbadevi Niketan (Borivali).
Domestic Career
Suryansh was one of the 17 players on Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy team during the most recent 2022–23 campaign. He was also chosen to replace Shardul Thakur in the Mumbai team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy when the latter left to represent India as a reserve in the T20 World Cup in Australia. Suryansh Shedge, however, was unable to participate in either format for the senior Mumbai team.
Suryansh accounted for 12 dismissals with the ball for the Mumbai U25 team during the BCCI Men’s U25 State A Trophy 2022, which was played in December of last year. Suryansh scored 184 runs in eight matches, including two half-centuries.
