Sunil Chhetri is not there in the Tentative 22-man Squad for Asian Games
As per one of the reports, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) has shared the list of the 22 men, who are going to represent in the Asian Games 2023. This list was shared with the Indian Olympic Association, and the report says that the name of Sunil Chhetri is not there, and that has left Indian Football fans in dismay. However, it is yet to be confirmed, but if this is true, then this is certainly going to affect the performance of the team. AIFF is still looking forward to getting accreditation from the Indian Olympic Association.

What actually happened?
India received permission from the government to send their football team to the Asian Games 2023. The permission had to be taken because Indians don’t meet the eligibility criteria to play in the Asian Games. However, later on, the news came that the All India Football Federation (AIFF) has been trying to best make the Indian Football team play in the Asian Games. However, now it is quite surprising to see that the greatest Indian football player has not been named on the list.
Fans are certainly very disappointed with this news. That is because they wanted to see how the Indian Football team is going to perform in this tournament, but now it looks like the Indian team will not be at its best if they get a chance to play in the Asian Games. That is because they will not have the best player in the squad.
What does AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey say?
The President of the AIFF has mentioned that they didn’t realize that the name of the three seniors was not mentioned in the list. President Chaubey has mentioned that it is the mistake of the people who have sent the names of the players.
Now it is going to be very interesting to see if the Indian team gets an opportunity to showcase their talent in the Asian Games or not. However, without Sunil Chhetri, they will not be able to show their full potential.
