All India Football Federation announces Super Cup in Kerala which will be conducted in April 2023

With the new regime transition and the creation of Vision 2047, Indian football is moving in the right way and should become a top-tier team in Asian football within the next 25 years.

A suitable pathway mechanism has been created to guarantee that players who advance to the national team come from a suitable pathway.

Starting with tournaments in high school and college, performing well there will advance you to the elite league, and excelling there will earn them a spot in the I-League, and performing well there will give them the opportunity to play for the national team.

Taking about the recent developments, All India Football Federation have recently announced Kerala as the host for the upcoming Hero Super Cup will be organized in Kerala where 16 teams will compete against each other from 8th April to 25th April and qualifying rounds of this marquee event will begun from April 3rd 2023.

11 teams from ISL and the winner of I-League for the season 2022-23 will constitute 12 teams out of 16 and the remaining 4 spots will be taken by the bottom and runner-up teams will qualify for the remaining 4 spots.

It will all start from the league stage game that will be held between April 8th to 19th 2023 follow by semi-final match held between between April 21-22.

The final match of the event will be held on April 25th 2023.

The winner of Super Cup will compete against I-League 2022 and 2023 will automatically qualify for AFC Cup next season.
