Seth Hayden Arnold Rance was born on 23rd August 1987 and is a New Zealand International Cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and also plays as right- arm medium bowler. He besides being a cricketer also works as a fireman in Greytown Fire Brigade. Rance is a station officer with Greytown, has two ODIs and four T20I against his name. Early Life

At the beginning of his career, Rance received a surprising phone call from Black Caps to play in the One-day international cricket tri-series in Ireland. Earlier in Feb, Rance was frustrated at not being noticed by national selectors, although he had topped the Ford trophy 50-overs wicket-taking charts. His career numbers are compelling in which Rance has 57 wickets in 33 list-A matches.

Domestic Career

Rance plays first-class cricket for Central Districts. He was the highest joint wicket-taker with Brent Arnel in the 2016-17 Super Smash with fifteen dismissals. He signed a contract with Central Districts in June 2018 for the 2018-19 season. Seth Rance being a fast bowler, gave a vicious delivery in the Super Smash 2017-18, Central Districts playing against Canterbury Kings. He bowled a ripper to Canterbury batsman Micheal Pollard, who was striking the ball hard at a rate of more than 180.

International Career

Rance was named in New Zealand ODI squad in April 2017 for the 2017 Ireland Tri-Nation Series. He made his ODI debut on 14th May 2017 against Ireland in Dublin. He has played his last ODI on 17th May 2017 against Bangladesh in Dublin. Rance made his T20 International debut on 29th December 2017 against West Indies at Saxton Oval, Nelson. His last T20 International was on 4th November 2018 against Pakistan. In his total of 2 ODI matches, he has bowled 105 balls and taken a wicket. In T20 International against West Indies, Seth Rance took two wickets successively in his second over, leading to a 47 run victory in the opening T20 match.
