Love is in air and there are no boundaries for it as it has been again proved by the love story of Saina Nehwal & Parupalli Kashyap. The young Badminton champs have revealed their love story recently and soon they have chosen time for their wedding bells. On 14th of December 2018, Saina Nehwal tied knot with her longtime friend and co-player Parupalli Kashyap in Hyderabad. This young couple have chosen Novatel hotel as their venue for wedding and invited some important VIP’s only in their wedding ceremony. Once the marriage ceremony was completed there were tweets from both of them with the caption, “Best match of my life”.

The young badminton player of India, who is one of the proudest Indian sports players, became bride at the age 28 years. She is one of India’s Shuttles superstar and well known all around the globe. Till present from the starting of her career, she has won 20 major titles along with an Olympic Bronze medal and a Silver medal at the World Championship competitions that were held.
Parupalli Kashyap
The young badminton player is a native of Hyderabad, India, who tied the knot to his co-Badminton player Saina Nehwal. This 32-year young man is an Arjuna Awardee also. One of the greatest achievements of Kashyap’s Badminton career is that he is first Indian to reach Men’s Single’s Quarterfinals in the London Olympics which were held in the year of 2012.
Saina Nehwal & Parupalli Kashyap Love Story
The interesting love story of young Badminton champs Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap was running from about a decade, though it came into light just few months back. Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap both got trained from the prestigious academy of another great Badminton player that is owned by Pullela Gopichand.
They both started taking the training at this academy and got trained at the same time. Since the year of 2005, they used to attend the Badminton training at this academy. They both used to play bigger badminton tournaments together in many matches and championships that were held. They even travelled together for many championship tours to play the tournaments from the year of 2007 to 2008 onwards.
Then slowly the attention towards each other’s matches started and it grew game-by-game. This created the seeds for their love story and slowly it has grown so far and both of them became one, by tying knot in the year of 2018, ten years after their love story began.
Decade for Getting Married
Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kahsyap have taken a decade to getting married, such a long time after their love story began. It is due to the well-known fact that these two young champions were busy with their career and tournaments. In their demanding career, they did not ever think before about marriage because winning tournaments were important for both them.
Now, they thought it’s high time for them to get married and also concentrate on their careers at the same time. Then the next thing is putting it before their parents and obviously there was a green signal from both the parents. Hence, both the families finalized the date of their marriage as 14th of December 2018.
All About the Marriage
Saina Nehwal, the new bride entered the marriage hall in a powder blue color Lehenga with blushing on her face and with shying face, smile she greeted everyone. She wore minimal makeup and little jewellery with simply superb look. Her wedding dress was designed by Vaishali Agarwal and with the simple hairstyle she got married to Parupalli Kashyap. The groom dressed up for the big day in Salmon Pink color Kurta along with White Pyjama designed by Shravya Varma, looked awesome. All the other rituals before the marriage day were carried out in the South Indian Telugu style and traditions.
On the 16th of December, the newly wedded badminton couple hosted a star studded reception at the Novatel hotel. This grand reception was attended by the governor of Telugu states ESL Narashiman, badminton league team owner VRK Rao and their coach Pullela Gopichand. Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap marriage is yet another big one in the Indian sports history.
