The much anticipated SA t20 cricket league has already been started. SA T20 league is a South Africa’s domestic cricket league and its latest 2023 edition began on 10th January. The opening match match of the tournament was played between MI Cape Town and Paarl Royals, MI Capetown won by 8 wickets . The league consists of 6 teams and all the teams are owned by the IPL franchise owners.
The names of the teams are also somewhat similar to the names of the IPL teams. The total no. of matches are 33 to be played in the tournament including final and semi-finals. Although, the league was conceptualised in 2022 and this is the first edition of the league. Teams playing in the tournament are :-
