Rohit is world class player, his contribution to Mumbai is special:Chris Lynn

Ahead of locking horns against Chennai Super Kings on 19th September 2020.Mumbai Indians Batsman Chris Lynn appreciated his skipper Rohit Sharma and his leadership ability especially the way he has lead the franchise over the years. He is the only captain in the history of IPL who have successfully lifted IPL trophy four times for Mumbai Indians.

This year of IPL 2020 will be played across three venues they are Abu Dhabi, Shah Jahan and Dubai. Lynn was happy to join Mumbai Indians from KKR and excited to play under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.

“Rohit- what a world class player, runs on the board, on and off the field and what he has contributed to Mumbai Indians is something really special. Quinton De Kock has been outstanding with the bat and gloves in hand, ” Lynn said in the video posted on the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Indians.

“If I can whizz my way in there, somewhere and hopefully do a job then this is awesome. At the end of the day I am happy to bat wherever it may be, wherever Mahela sees fit” He added.

Lynn was picked by Mumbai Indians on December 2019 for INR 2 Crore. He is happy to join MI and wants to contribute heavily towards the success of the team. With the strong depth in their batting and bowling lineup they will be eyeing for 5th IPL title this year.
