UEFA Champions League is one of the top leagues of football in the world where the world-class players represent their clubs. There is a lot of news regarding the UEFA Champions League that is making the headlines. Let’s know about them in detail.

As the conclusion of the Champions League season could be moved to Lisbon to a mini tournament in August.

It emerged last week that the final might happen in Istanbul and now it appears that the whole tournament will be played in Lisbon.

However, the competition finale was originally scheduled for May 30 in Istanbul before the pandemic put the sport across the globe on pause. But the actual announcement will be done from UEFA after their meeting on June 17th.

There is one new report that is gripping all the eyeballs where Turkey is not ready to pay UEFA for the matches that will take place in closed doors. As Turkey-backed out for conducting the event in closed doors, German publication has claimed that Lisbon is leading the race for a new host city.

However, the European Football governing body reportedly hopes to resume the Champions League and Europa League knockout stages on August 7th.

Games would be played twice a week and with semifinal and final will take place between August 18 and 22 with final hosted on August 29. As the next Champions League will start from September after a short break.
