After 3 days of grueling cut throat competition at Ranji Trophy Quarter-finals, we finally have our Semi-Finalists for 2022/23 season and only one team is yet to join the last 4 teams. Saurashtra and Punjab are currently grinding at the SCA stadium for a favorable result.
The North-Indian team is chasing a target of 252 runs and the 3rd session has already begun. The good thing for them is that they are only 1 wicket down and but they will have to accelerate their innings to reach the target by the end of the day.
But the current headline is that Karnataka who had posted a target of 606 runs have their quarter-final against Uttarakhand. The South-Indian team registered a massive victory following their outstanding display of Ball and Bat. In the 1st Innings UK were bowled out for 116 runs and in the 2nd innings, the home team broke the back of the visitors’ bowling attack.
606 runs were enough to reach the Ranji Trophy 2022/23 Semi-Finals and Shreyas Gopal for his 161* and 3/26 was the man of the match against Uttarakhand. The visitors were bowled out for 209 runs with Swapnil Singh the only batter to score a 50.
