PV Sindhu’s “I Retire” Post On Social media created panic among her fans. Here’s The Twist

Indian ace Badminton Player PV Sindhu created panic among her fans through her social media post where she shared the message written in bold Letters “I RETIRE”. The moment she shared this message on her Twitter and Instagram account all her fans started assuming that they will not see her favourite Badminton sensation anymore on the court however before fans make any assumption about her post her message at the end came with the Twist.

“Denmark Open was the final straw. I RETIRE,” the first in her series of messages read. She goes on to talk about how she wants to come clean with her feelings and tells fans that they may be confused while reading the message but will “have learnt about my point of view” She writes about COVID-19 and how the deadly virus has impacted her game as a player.

“Today I choose to retire from this current sense of unrest. I retire from this negativity,” while she admitted that after writing this message must have given “Mini Heart Attack” to all her fans but this is unprecedented time which requires unprecedented measures. The message was all about to aware everyone that they need to be alert and safe when it comes to dealing with the novel coronavirus. We should follow all the health protocols so that we can remain healthy during this tough time.

However Fans were shocked after reading her initial message but relieved later after reading her full message and her intention about writing that post.

“That gave me a scare for a moment. You are right we all need to unite against this virus by following the protocols. We will fight off the virus together,” one user wrote.

PV Sindhu is currently in London preparing for next year’s Asia leg of the Badminton World Federation‘s calendar as this year no major badminton tournament will conducted due to COVID-19.
