Hyperfront, a game that quickly rose to prominence, will cease to exist after April 10th, 2023, as the developers have chosen to close down their servers.
However, due to the underwhelming reaction from fans, other well-known esports titles like Marvel Avengers will no longer be played, but the reason Hyperfront has been shut down is entirely different. Let’s go over each argument in more detail:
Riot Games filed a lawsuit against NetEase, the parent firm of Hyperfront, in 2022.
Due to the fact that they share characteristics with CS:GO and Valorant, a lawsuit was filed over them.
Aside from format, RIOT FPS and Hyperfront are comparable in terms of the maps, characters, and designs that are offered.
The game which was widely available on Google Stores and App Stores will no longer will be available post 10th April 2023 also the game came in firing zone from PUBG(another popular Esports game in India).

The statement from the developer of Hyperfront read that they are proud of the community they have built in limited time frame and also apologize to fans for discontinuing the game going forward.
“We are proud of the community formed around Hyper Front. Thank you all for your support and love during this time and we apologize for the disappointment that this announcement might cause. The figures of every astral who fought in hyper front will live on in our hearts, and we’ll always remember the good times we spent together.”
Based on reports in different media outlets, there is still no clarity that the amount spent by users so far will be refunded or not going forward.
However fans are extremely disappointed that Riot has filled the lawsuit but didn’t developed mobile version of Valorant yet also people can’t further login from facebook to play this game.
They have one week to enjoy this lovely game, and it is sad to see such a well-liked game come to an end.
