The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is still unsure about its participation in the world cup 2023 which is scheduled to be held in India. The officials of the Pakistan cricket board earlier stated in a retaliated manner that if India does not come to Pakistan for the Asia cup, we will step back from the world cup that is to be held in India from October this year.

The Pakistan Cricket Board will take a crucial part on its behalf in a meeting with the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) that will take place on Monday.  The meeting with the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday would be the Pakistan Cricket Board’s final chance to express its concerns and reject BCCI maneuvers about the Asia Cup 2023 hosting difficulties. A three-member PCB delegation led by interim management committee chairman Najam Sethi will travel to Dubai for meetings with BCCI secretary Jay Shah, who is also the president of the ACC after the Indian team stated that it would not travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup because the Indian government would not allow it.

Following the ACC executive board meeting, the Pakistan Cricket Board will make its final decision on whether to send its side to the ICC World Cup in India. Nevertheless, the BCCI has maintained its position of not traveling to Pakistan at any cost.

Amid all the buzz, the sports minister has his say on the Indian Team Participation in the Asia Cup in Pakistan. He said that the BCCI will decide if the Indian Cricket Team will participate in the Asia cup. “Let the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decide on the Indian team’s participation in the Asia Cup first,” Sports Minister Anurag Thakur said on Monday.

However, the ICC and ACC may opt to hold Indo-Pak combat in the United Arab Emirates, a neutral venue, although concrete decisions will not be made until the end of this month’s sessions.
