PCB most probably will loose Asia Cup Hosting Rights as BCCI prepares for five nation tournament ; Reports

Asia Cup 2023 : BCCI and PCB to face off at ACC Meeting next month

Things are getting sour between BCCI and PCB, where the latter is adamant to host Asia Cup on their own country whereasย  the former had already stated that they will not be travelling to Pakistan for security reasons.

There was a report circulating on social media, India will be playing their Asia Cup games on neutral venue, and rest of the countries will play their game in Pakistan.

Based on new report from distinct media outlets, PCB is adamant to not give up Asia Cup rights and they want all the matches in Pakistan.

There is another report circulating, which states that BCCI is planning to host five nation tournament, during Asia Cup tenure, if this turns out to be true would mean that, Asia Cup hosting rights from Pakistan will be taken away.

PCB President Najam Sethi is adamant and vocal about hosting Asia Cup in their backyard and stated that โ€œWe are awaiting feedback from other nations to finalize the venue for the 2023 Asia Cup and clarity on the India-Pakistan match,” Shah said during a media interaction.

Asia Cup is played between top teams from Asia which include the likes of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and one qualifying team from ACC qualifier.ย 

Last edition of Asia Cup was won by Sri Lanka and they would be expected to do wonders in this upcoming edition.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the clash between India and Pakistan on the occasion of Asia Cup and if the clash doesn’t happen, they will be next meeting for the 50 Over World Cup scheduled in India.

Based on different sources, these two arch rivals, India and Pakistan will meet each other in New Delhi.

In case Asia Cup doesn’t happen we might loose the opportunity to witness the classy contest between two powerhouse teams .

Pakistan white ball squad have grown immensely in last few years under the able leadership of Babar Azam and they are all set to give tough time to Indian players in the marquee event.
