Cricketer Pawan Sarraf is from Nepal and was born on December 17, 2000. On January 25, 2019, he played his first One Day International (ODI) for Nepal against the United Arab Emirates.

Playing Career

Pawan Sarraf was a part of the Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket team in January 2019 for their series against the United Arab Emirates. On February 1st, 2019, Sarraf made his Nepal T20I (Twenty20 INternational) debut against the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Pawan was selected to play for Nepal National Cricket Team in the Asia Under-19 Cricket World Cup qualification competition in April 2019. Sarraf grabbed three wickets for five runs in Nepal’s opening encounter of the tournament against Singapore, winning player of the match honors.


Pawan Sarraf was included in Nepal’s roster for the Regional Finals of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier competition in June 2019. On November 6, 2019, while the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) was touring Nepal, Pawan made his first-class debut for Nepal Cricket Team against them. Later that month, he was selected for both the men’s cricket competition at the 2019 South Asian Games and Nepal’s squads for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Bangladesh. Thanks to the outstanding performance of Nepali players, the Nepali cricket team defeated the Maldives cricket team by a margin of five wickets in the third-place playoff game, and the Nepali national cricket team took home the bronze medal with them with pride. Pawan Sarraf was one of those 18 cricketers who received a central contract from the Cricket Association of Nepal in September 2020.
