Playing Cricket Career

Cricket player Pauke Siaka captained the Papua New Guinea women’s national cricket team in the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier, which took place in the month of February of the year 2017. With 8 dismissals, Pauke Siaka had the most wickets for Papua New Guinea in the competition.

Pauke Siaka received the Lewas Medal for the best women’s cricketer of the year in the month of June of the year 2018 at the Papua New Guinea Cricket Awards in recognition of her efforts during the Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier. Pauke Siaka was appointed as Papua New Guinea’s captain for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty 20 Qualifier competition in that same month. On July 7, of the year 2018, in the World Twenty 20 Qualifier match against the national women’s cricket team of Bangladesh, Pauke Siaka played in her first Women’s Twenty 20 International (WT20I) for Papua New Guinea. Pauke Siaka was selected to play for Papua New Guinea in the Zimbabwe Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier competition in the month of October of the year 2021.
