Parshavi Chopra is a Bulandshahar, Uttar Pradesh born cricketer who recently came into the spotlight after helping India U-19 Women’s team to win the inaugural ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World cup. She was nurtured in a family filled with Cricket maniacs as her Father, Uncle as well as Grand father played professional cricket at lower levels.
Before turning into a Bowling All-rounder, Parshavi Chopra was a skater but her father asked her to follow Cricket professionally. She had an outstanding record in domestic cricket and in different BCCI age level tournaments.
Her contribution during the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World cup last month, Parshavi was the 2nd highest wicket-taker with 11 wickets with an unbelievable economy rate of 3.66.
In the auctions on Monday, she will hope to reap the rewards for her performance in the U-19 World cup.
