Paris Paralympics 2024: Manish Narwal Wins Silver in 10m Air Pistol SH1
Indian shooter Manish Narwal added another medal to his Paralympic tally, winning a silver in the 10m air pistol SH1 event at the Paris Paralympics. This follows his gold medal win in the mixed 50m pistol event at the Tokyo Paralympics.
Narwal maintained a strong position throughout the competition, consistently vying for the top spot. However, his performance wavered in the final six shots, where he failed to maintain the same level of consistency. Despite scoring 10.1, 8.9, and 9.9 in the crucial gold shootout, Narwal was unable to match the exceptional performance of Korea’s Jeongdu Jo, who secured the gold medal with a score of 10.8 followed by 8.7.

Mona Agarwal also secured a bronze medal in the same event, ensuring a double podium finish for the Indian contingent.
