“Only Money matters to BCCI nothing else…….” Lambast Fans on BCCI Agreeing to Play Asia Cup Despite Battle Against Pakistan

The Board of Control for Cricket in India Decision to not say No for the Upcoming Asia Cup have drawn immense criticism for the richest cricket board for Priortizing Playing Cricket against Pakistan who are also part of Asia Cup considering Current Diplomatic relationship stand difficult between these two arch rivals.

The Operation Sindoor conducted by Indian Government after Pakistani backed terrorist Killed Innocent Indian people in Pehalgam on the basis of religion.

Post this incident Indian Government started boycotting Pakistani Celebrities on Instagram one by one also Pakistani news channels and their sports account was banned.

The collective message came that in any case we would not play against Pakistan but BCCI might not have taken decision alone behind the scenes they must have received permission from Ministry of Sports,also Indian Hockey Asia Cup organizers is hosting Marquee event in Bihar where Pakistani team denied their participation along with Oman and the Upcoming Asia Cup will be played as 8 team tournament in two groups consisting of 4 players each and India are placed in Group A in the absence of Pakistan and Oman based on rankings Kazakhistan and Bangladesh will compete in this tournament.

If Pakistan can deny playing in India against India why the richest Cricket board didn’t say No to playing Against Pakistan or to an extent playing Asia Cup.

Most Fans and Experts have expressed their dissatisfaction on Social Media where majority of them wrote “For BCCI only money matters the lives of solders don’t”

However considering all permutations and Combinations the Government should have not allowed Indian team to Participate in Asia Cup it should have been complete Boycott not Selective Boycott.

If the Squad is announced it means that they would play also in the Upcoming Marquee event but many believed that they would forefit game against Pakistan.

Even Coach Gautam Gambhir said in one of his Interviews ” If you ask my Personal Opinion there shouldn’t be any Cricket Played against Pakistan but as Head Coach we are allowed to play against teams based on all the fixtures which are offered to us”

People are not happy with BCCI decision, Let’s see how things change going forward in this mega event especially in reference to India or not.

The Asia Cup 2025 is all set to start from 8th September in UAE where 8 teams would compete against each other for the prestigious Title followed by Super 4 and eventually to the Final.

The anticipated India-Pakistan Clash is all set to take place on 14th August 2025 in Dubai.
