Ogbeche bids adieu to Kerala Blasters

Bartholomew Ogbeche has parted ways with Kerala FC. This news was confirmed on Saturday by one of the club officials who also thanked him for his valuable contribution towards the club.

The former Nigerian International started his ISL journey from North-East United before joining Kerala FC ahead of 2019 season.

He led Kerala FC in the sixth edition of ISL and scored 15 goals for them. With his individual brilliance, he brought numerous victories for the ace club.

He talked about his experience with the club in detail and the way management helped him in becoming a good player.

Unbelievable as it seems I am leaving this great club, but all I can say is I will always remember my time here with lots of pride and joy in my heart. I would like to thank my teammates, coaches, management, and all the staff. To the fans, words can’t describe how grateful I am, will always be in your love and steadfast support during the past season. I wish the club lots of success in future”.

He received an acknowledgement from Karolis Skinkys, who is serving as Sporting director of Kerala FC. The latter appreciated Ogbeche for his professionalism and commitment towards the franchise.

In the brief time I got to know him , I would like to thank Bart for his professionalism and commitment towards the club. We did had a discussion in order to retain him but at the end we move forward with great mutual respect for each other” He added.

Kerala Blasters was founded in 2014 and is one of the most popular clubs in ISL which has a huge fan base as when the matches are played on their home ground Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium you will see fans coming in huge numbers to support their home team.
