No Spot in India’s Test Team, Demoted in BCCI Central Contract list everything is at stake for this Indian Cricketer in ongoing IPL season

It seems that the stars are dull for Lucknow Super Giants skipper and India’s top order batter Kl Rahul as his days seem numbered in International cricket.

The ace batter has already lost a spot in India’s Test Cricket Team, He has been demoted in BCCI Central Contracts from A category to B Category also his performance with the willow is not so good for LSG in the ongoing edition of IPL.

Based on reports from different media outlets, it is clear that Kl Rahul have to quickly find his mojo back with the bat as his dip in form on consecutive basis can cost his place permanently in India’s national squad.

Considering this is a world cup year and someone like Shikhar Dhawan who is among the top run getter of this ongoing cash rich league will certainly get a chance at top of the order for World Cup 2023.

Kl Rahul is also facing extreme competition from other talented opener Shubhman Gill who in limited time have scored centuries in all three formats of the game.

Kl Rahul India’s vice captaincy tenure was taken away due to his poor form so he will be aware about the consequences.

The issues with Kl Rahil have been his inconsistency where despite team management giving him several chances but he failed to capitalize most occasions.

When we talk about his current batting performance he has managed to score only 63 runs at a meagre average of 21.00 and his strike rate has been 103 which is pretty low as per his standard.

His highest score in the marquee event have been 35 runs so it will be interesting to see how he makes comeback from here.

Lucknow Super Giants as squad looks pretty dominating as they have got all bases covered and Rahul would be looking to take that advantage and play his natural game so that he can regain his lost form back.
